The Town of The Blue Mountains is hosting a community tourism roundtable on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The virtual roundtable will take place on Microsoft Teams from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It will give participants an opportunity to share their experience with tourism in the Town of The Blue Mountains and provide their vision for the future of tourism development, management and marketing in the town.

Residents, visitor-facing business owners, employees at an organization related to tourism in The Blue Mountains or individuals interested in tourism in the town are encouraged to register for the roundtable at the website here.

The town is currently moving through the process of developing a Tourism and Marketing Strategy to help guide and support tourism development within the community. The strategy is being co-developed with engagement from industry members and the local community and with support from the Blue Mountain Village Association.

To lead the project, the town has engaged Bannikin, a tourism research, strategy, development and strategic communications consultant.
