The Blue Mountains Fire Department will hold its annual open house this Saturday.
The fire department invites the public to attend the open house at the firehall located at Grey Road 2 and Clark Street. The open house celebrating the 102nd anniversary of Fire Prevention week will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature of number of activities and demonstrations for all ages including:
- Free barbecue.
- Bouncy castle for children.
- Auto extrication demo at 1 p.m.
- Test your skills with the “Hose Target House”
- Have birthday cake with Sparky and decorate your own “Smoke Alarm Cookie”
- Fire truck display with firefighters on site to answer all of your fire safety questions
