YMCA Owen Sound Grey Bruce is entering the final days of its big fundraising drive and is asking the community for help.
The YMCA’s Strong Communities Campaign has just days to go and $10,000 left to raise the goal of $100,000. The campaign concludes on March 31.
“The YMCA is calling on our community to help us reach our $100,000 goal by March 31. The YMCA Strong Communities Campaign supports our financial assistance program, which makes the YMCA accessible to everyone regardless of their financial circumstances," Ellen Wallace, communications and fund development specialist, said in an email.
Wallace said that every contribution counts, no matter how big or small. The efforts of YMCA supporters can create meaningful change in the lives of those who rely on the YMCA’s Financial Assistance Program. The YMCA noted that 903 community members utilized the Financial Assistance Program in 2023 alone and the need continues to grow.
