The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of upcoming construction activity on Victoria Street North, Huron Street West, King Street West, Lansdowne Street North and Elma Street North in Thornbury.
On behalf of EPCOR, Hapamp will be rebuilding the existing overhead pole lines. The planned work for this infrastructure renewal project involves the installation of new poles, primary wire, secondary wire and anchoring in the locations already marked with a wooden stake. Upon completion of the work, the old poles and wires will be removed, and all work areas will be restored to their original condition. If it becomes necessary to interrupt power to any properties, EPCOR will contact property owners in advance and advise of the approximate time and duration of the outage.
This work is expected to be ongoing until early to mid-September.
