I am writing to express my concern regarding the parking situation on the boulevard along High Street, specifically between 3rd and 5th Streets.

Recently, I contacted the bylaw department to inquire about the legality of parking on the boulevard in this area. While I was informed that it is not a direct violation of the bylaw, I believe it poses a significant safety hazard.

The issue arises when vehicles are parked on the boulevard, obstructing the view for drivers exiting from side streets onto High Street. This forces drivers to pull out into the main traffic lane to ensure they have a clear view of oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of accidents.

I urge the Town of Collingwood to consider implementing regulations or guidelines to discourage parking on the boulevard in this area, particularly during peak traffic times. This would help improve safety and reduce the potential for accidents.

Sincerely,
Lesley Case
