BIA announces winning floats from Santa Claus Parade

The winners embraced the theme of Santa's Workshop and showed creativity for their parade entries

The Downtown Collingwood business association (BIA) announced the winning entries from the Santa Claus Parade, with thanks to all the participants for yet another successful event. 

The parade was held on Nov. 16, and winners were announced last week. 

Awards were handed out in three categories – industrial/commercial, service clubs/non-profit organizations, and youth – with first, second and third place selected. 

This year's parade theme was "Santa's Workshop" and the BIA was pleased to see so many entries embrace the theme. 

And the winners are: 

  • Industrial/commercial
    • First Place – Crozier Consulting Engineers;
    • Second Place – Georgian Shores Construction LTD;
    • Third Place – Serendipity Soy Candles. 
  • Service clubs/non-profit organizations
    • First Place – Collingwood Agricultural Society/Great Northern Exhibition;
    • Second Place – Georgian Triangle Anglers Association;
    • Third Place – Track Adaptative Sports Association.
  • Youth
    • First Place – Our Lady of the Bay Catholic High School;
    • Second Place – Connaught Public School;
    • Third Place – Admiral Collingwood Public School.
