Tee-off Friday in support of Living Better with Parkinson's

Later this week, golfers will tee-off at Duntroon Highlands in support of a local non-profit dedicated to making life better for people living with Parkinson's Disease. 

Named the WSC Charity Parkinson's Golf Tournament, after renowned SickKid's Hospital surgeon Dr. William Crysdale who has been living with Parkinson's Disease for several years, the aim is to raise funds for the locally based non-profit Living Better with Parkinson's. 

The tournament was started by Dr. Crysdale's family seven years ago in support of Living Better. 

The golf tournament will take place at Duntroon Highlands Golf Club on Sept. 20, with arrival at 11:30 a.m. and a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. 

Parkinson’s Disease is a neurodegenerative disease affecting approximately 1 in 10 people. Living Better with Parkinson’s offers essential support groups and programs designed to assist those impacted by this challenging condition.
