The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) warmly invites the community to its annual Holiday Open House on December 12, 2024, to celebrate the spirit of the season and the incredible community of supporters who make second chances possible for pets in need. This festive event will feature exclusive tours, inspiring stories, and joyful moments with some of the resilient animals currently in GTHS care.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the animal centre on a behind-the-scenes tour, where they will witness the journey each pet takes toward finding a new home. As they walk through the halls, guests can connect with GTHS volunteers and staff and hear first-hand stories of lifesaving work and the transformative impact their support brings to both pets and people. The event will also feature holiday cheer as the GTHS celebrates another year of community partnership, dedication, and the countless lives touched through its mission.
“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone to our Holiday Open House to celebrate the incredible support of our community,” says Karen Marsh, executive director of the GTHS. “This event is our chance to say thank you and to share the inspiring journeys of the animals we care for, all made possible by our community’s generosity.”
In the spirit of the season, guests are encouraged to bring “warm and fuzzy” items from the GTHS wish list to help brighten the holidays for pets waiting for their second chance. And for those making financial contributions leading up to the Holiday Open House from Dec. 6 to Dec. 12, either in person or online, an anonymous match donor will double every dollar contributed up to $5,000. This generous match makes each gift go even further in bringing comfort and care to pets in need.
