UPDATED: Car crash closes portion of First Street, man suffers life-threatening injuries

Emergency crews responded to a serious collision on First Street near the intersection with Cedar Street on the evening of April 13. 

According to a tweet by the OPP this morning (April 14), the collision involved three vehicles and left one man with life-threatening injuries. 

Police report a 42-year-old man was air-lifted to hospital. The other two parties involved were not injured.

Collingwood Fire Department assisted at the scene.

First Street was closed while police investigated, and the investigation continues this morning.
