OPP responded to 439 calls for service to areas in Clearview, Springwater, and Wasaga Beach this weekend, laying 383 charges to motorists in the area.
There were additional OPP officers working from the Huronia West detachment (Wasaga Beach) this weekend.
The Town of Wasaga Beach issued a warning last week that there was an "unsanctioned" car rally headed for town on the Sept. 24-26 weekend.
According to OPP, officers had 70 vehicles towed from roadways related to 22 stunt driving charges, 33 "unfit vehicles," and four impaired driving charges.
