Three charged in connection with break and enter in Wasaga Beach

OPP officers from Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of persons entering a Beach Drive, Wasaga Beach business location at 2:12 a.m. Sept. 25, 2021. Officers assisted by the OPP Ariel Services and K-9 Unit were able to track and locate the suspects for arresting officers.

Charged in relation to this investigation are two 17-year-old males whose identities are protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) and 19-year-old Dawson Urbanek of South Bruce with the offence of Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused were all released from police custody on a undertaking to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie at a future date.
