Two charged after seven break-ins at Thornbury business

Two people have been charged in relation to several break-ins at a business in Thornbury.

Police say seven break-ins occurred in May at a commercial property on King Street, where suspects accessed storage lockers and made off with undisclosed items.

Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP, with the assistance of Grey Bruce OPP, were able to identify the suspects.

A 33-year-old Meaford man has been charged with six counts of break and enter.

A 30-year-old Meaford has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments, obstructing a peace officer, theft under $5,000 and five counts of break and enter.

Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
