LETTER: Grey Highlands rebranding not worth the money

Municipality should learn from Grey County, where rebranding 'didn't do anything other than spend $200,000,' says letter writer

The following letter is in response to an article about the Municipality of Grey Highlands considering rebranding, published Sept. 5.

In my opinion, this is a total waste of money.

Grey County did this and it didn’t do anything other than spend $200,000. It does do something, though, and that is it fills up the ego of those promoting the change.

My advice to council is: don’t do it. Our taxes and water costs are almost above the dollar value of the seniors trying to stay at home rather than being a burden on the community.

Thanks for listening.
