Editor,
Yesterday, I took my 85-year-old father to the Collingwood COVID-19 vaccine site. I was so impressed with the staff there. They were so pleasant and professional. It was fast and easy. The method of driving through was the perfect way to provide the elderly with this vaccine.
We have several friends and family that are in the GTA. We have been told of several stories of seniors, some with walkers and other conditions that make it hard for them to stand or weather the cold, having had to stand in the cold with no place to sit for over an hour.
I would love a shout-out to go to the staff that we dealt with today. They eased the fear of the seniors and were quick and efficient. It was an excellent model to follow for our area.
