Christmas in a Box is launching its 9th Christmas helping families in need in Wasaga, Clearview and Collingwood.
Each year, the grassroots, neighbours-helping-neighbours, volunteer group provides children with gifts and families with a meal for Christmas.
At the heart of the project is the driving goal of making sure no children have to go without a gift and family meal at Christmas.
"Let's work together as a community to ensure no children go without this Christmas," states the group in a news release.
Applications are still being accepted, and nominations can be made on behalf of friends and neighbours who need help this holiday season.
The group is also looking for sponsors to help the families who apply for Christmas in a Box.
