This Saturday, Christmas shopping can be a bit more joyful thanks to an event organized by two local entrepreneurs.
On Nov. 23 at Hope Chapel, you can buy a bag of children's clothing for $5 at A Joyful Swap and Shop, hosted by Georgian Bay Bebe and Joyful Homes by Emily.
Families from Collingwood and beyond are invited to donate and shop at the event.
Donations can be dropped off at Hope Chapel (19 Cameron St.) in Collingwood from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and must be in great condition and washed. Clothing must be in sizes from newborn to 4T. Children's toys in clean, working order also accepted.
Shopping runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers will be able to fill a bag for $5.
Event volunteers will be accepting cash only for the day and proceeds will be donated to Hope Chapel.
