Police arrest 36-year-old suspect for Meaford break-and-enters

A man has been arrested following a series of break-ins in Meaford. 

Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police investigated a series of five break-ins between June 23 and 24 on Albert and Parker Streets and Birchwood Court and have since arrested a man. 

Police arrested a 36-year-old Meaford man on June 27, and laid the following charges: 

  • Mischief under $5,000 
  • Break, enter a place - commit indictable offence 
  • Fail to comply with probation order

"It is important for homeowners to report all break-and-enters to police," states a news release from Grey Bruce OPP.
