CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP - On March 2, 2020, at approximately 12:35 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huronia West Detachment responded to a shooting incident at a residence on Collingwood Clearview Townline, near 36/37 Nottawasaga Sideroad.
Police have identified a male victim who is being treated for injuries at a Toronto-area hospital. Police also believe a second person may have been seriously injured in the incident, and are asking them to come forward as there is concern for their well-being.
OPP Forensic Identification Services attended the scene. The investigation is being led by the Huronia West OPP Crime Unit.
The OPP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying any suspicious vehicles or persons seen in that area between March 1 and the time of the incident.
