Grey Roots Museum and Archives will celebrate its 20th anniversary on June 28.

The event will take place at Grey Roots Friday, June 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and free to attend. Taking place on a PA Day Friday, the celebration features activities and programming designed for children, along with complimentary ice cream cones, making it an ideal start to the summer holidays. Attendees can tour current exhibits as well as the grounds of Moreston Heritage Village.

“This is a major milestone for Grey Roots, and we cannot wait to celebrate on Friday,” said Zak Erb, Public Relations Coordinator for Grey Roots. “Over the last 20 years, Grey Roots has impacted so many, from visitors to Kids Camp attendees, our incredible family of volunteers, and the community organizations we’ve had the pleasure of working with. There’s so much to be proud of, and so much to look forward to.”

The Anniversary Celebration on June 28 is one of several activities planned around the 20th Anniversary. Other activities include several “admission by donation” days, the next of which is Delton Becker Day on Saturday, June 29. Grey Roots will hold a 20th Anniversary Gala on Friday November 8, and a retrospective presentation on the origin and early years of Grey Roots, presented as part of the Fall Lecture Series in November.
